Two marks on the panel are easy to miss. The double asterisk (**) next to the blend's 1,000 mg weight points to the Daily Value footnote, which says a daily value has not been set for this blend as a whole. Why Is There a %DV Column With No Percentage Listed?
Look at the column header again: "Amount Per Serving" next to "%DV." On a standard vitamin label, the %DV column shows what share of the government's daily target one serving provides, such as 100% for a vitamin with a set intake target. Horsemen's blend row shows a double asterisk instead of a percent, and the footnote under the ingredient list reads "*Daily Value Not Established."
That is not an error. The FDA has not set a daily value for a blend of these 9 ingredients, so there is no government percentage to print. The same footnote would apply to almost any proprietary blend built from herbs and plant extracts rather than vitamins and minerals. It tells you the blend has no official recommended amount to compare against, in either direction.

Start at the top
Check the serving size line first. Horsemen's is 2 capsules, not 1. Every other number on the panel, including the 1,000 mg blend weight, is stated per that 2-capsule serving.
Read the blend as one number
The 1,000 mg next to "Test Boost Proprietary Blend" is a combined total for all 9 ingredients listed under it. It is not the amount of any single ingredient.
Check the ingredient order
US labeling rules require proprietary-blend ingredients to be listed in descending order by weight. L-Lysine HCL leads the list, so it likely makes up the largest single share; raspberry ketones sit last, so it likely makes up the smallest.
Separate the blend from the capsule shell
Other Ingredients (gelatin, rice powder, magnesium stearate) build and stabilize the capsule. They sit outside the 1,000 mg blend and are not active doses.
Match the panel to the directions
The Supplement Facts serving is 2 capsules. The Suggested Use line offers a range, 1 or 2 capsules. Match your daily count to the 2-capsule line if you want the full stated blend amount.
Why Does the Label List 1 or 2 Capsules When the Serving Is 2?
This is the one mismatch worth knowing before you start. The Supplement Facts panel sets the serving size at 2 capsules, which is the amount tied to the 1,000 mg blend total. The Suggested Use line on the other panel says: "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) or two (2) capsules daily with an 8 oz. glass of water."
Those two lines are not contradictory, but they answer different questions. The Supplement Facts panel states what a full serving contains. The Suggested Use line gives you a range to choose from. Taking 1 capsule a day gives you roughly 500 mg of the blend, half of the stated serving. Taking 2 capsules a day gives you the full 1,000 mg serving the Supplement Facts panel describes.
- 1 capsule a day = about 500 mg of the Test Boost Proprietary Blend, half a stated serving.
- 2 capsules a day = the full 1,000 mg blend, matching the Supplement Facts serving size.
